LifeBook – week 1

“In 10 minutes”

I participated in the sketchbook project again this year. For the 2011 Sketchbook Project I signed up fairly late (November I think) and ended up being really pressed for time. This year I signed up early and had the book in by September.

My theme for 2012 was “In 10 minutes” and I decided that each spread must be completed in 10 minutes. Some of the pages I am really pleased with, others… not so much. Overall though I had a lot of fun doing the sketchbook project.

Moving forward

“When you have come to the edge of all light that you know and are about to drop off into the darkness of the unknown, Faith is knowing one of two things will happen:

There will be something solid to stand on or you will be taught to fly”

Complete

Finished the painting I started Sunday, love it.

Snow has come, leaving me with that christmasey feeling (yes, it’s a word).

Peaceful evenings with cocoa in front of the fire ensue.

What it feels like to be me

I just finished up my painting for week 5 of BIG (yes, I’m behind) called what it feels like to be me. I love the finished painting. It’s actually taller than I am!
